Terms
The rules of the road.
What this site offers, what the assessment is and is not, and what we each agree to.
Effective date: [CONFIRM] · Last updated: [CONFIRM]
This page is a working draft. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet in effect. If you need to know how we handle your information today, call 970-896-9504.
Who these terms cover
These terms apply to everyone who visits this site, uses the AI assessment, or signs in to the member workspace. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
[CONFIRM: legal entity name, and the effective date you want these to run from.]
What this site offers
The site publishes information about our services and products, and provides a free AI assessment that returns a personalized starting plan.
Paid work — consulting, training, and custom builds — is not sold through this site. It is agreed separately in writing, and that written agreement governs the work. Where it conflicts with these terms, the written agreement wins.
The assessment is a starting point, not advice
The assessment produces a suggested learning and implementation path from the answers you give it. It is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice, and it does not create a consulting relationship between us.
Decisions you make from it are your own. If a decision carries real consequences, get advice from a qualified professional in that field first.
Your account
If you are given access to the member workspace, keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights.
- Do not attempt to gain access to systems or data you have not been given access to.
- Do not scrape, overload, or disrupt the site or the services behind it.
- Do not upload anything malicious.
Intellectual property
The site, its copy, its design, the assessment and the curriculum behind it belong to us or to our licensors. You may read and share the public pages. You may not copy the assessment, the curriculum, or the course material for your own commercial use without our written permission.
What you write into the assessment stays yours. You give us permission to process it so we can return your result. [CONFIRM: whether you want a further licence to use anonymised answers to improve the assessment — if so it belongs here and in the privacy policy.]
Fees and engagements
[CONFIRM: how paid engagements are quoted, invoiced and cancelled, and whether a consultation fee is credited toward later project work. The home page currently describes a $250 consultation credited toward project work — the terms here need to match whatever is actually offered.]
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise any particular outcome from the assessment or from general information published here.
[CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL: the limitation of liability and indemnity language belongs here and should not be drafted from a template. It is the clause most likely to matter and the one most likely to be unenforceable if it is copied from somewhere else.]
Governing law
[CONFIRM: these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, with disputes heard in Routt County — confirm both, and confirm whether you want arbitration instead of court.]
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this address, and the effective date at the top tells you which version applies.
